About Me

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Dr. Jessica Feranec has been practicing in Florida for nearly 20 years and is double board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as urogynecology and female reconstructive surgery. Dr. Feranec performs a wide range of pelvic surgeries including laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, endometriosis and uterine fibroid surgeries, and surgeries for prolapse and incontinence.

Dr. Feranec received her medical degree from East Carolina University (now Brody School of Medicine). She then completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida followed later by a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and pelvic pain at Florida Hospital (now Advent Health).

In addition to her focus on surgical procedures, she is involved in teaching future surgeons. She is an Associate Professor for the Ob/Gyn UCF/Osceola residency program, and the Assistant Program Director for the AAGL minimally invasive surgery and advanced gynecology fellowship program at the Orlando VA. She is the Chief of Surgery at the Orlando VA Health Care System and serves as a consultant for the VA Central Office as the Senior Pelvic Floor Disorder Expert to Women’s Health Services in Reproductive Health.

What My Patients Have Said

  • Dr. Feranec has been a wonderful provider, she always takes her time to explain things to me and makes sure she is through. Extremely friendly and great bedside manner. Very knowledgeable and able to break down medical terminology so her patients can understand it. I have had 2 procedures and 1 surgery with her and all have been successful and correct. I would recommend her to anyone needed OB/GYN care as a veteran.
