A widely recognized leader in the field of reproductive medicine, Sharon B. Jaffe, MD, is credited as the first female to become Board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility in the state of Florida. She is proud to serve patients at the Center for Reproductive Medicine in Winter Park and Celebration, Florida.

Education

Dr. Jaffe is a graduate of the prestigious Johns Hopkins University. After completing her medical and post-graduate education in obstetrics and gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, she received a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where she remained as the medical director for the in vitro fertilization program.

Achievements

A highly qualified fertility doctor, she currently serves as the director of the Florida clinic's anonymous donor egg program. For over eight years, Dr. Jaffe directed the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the Orlando Regional Healthcare System OB/GYN Residency Program and served as a courtesy clinical associate professor at the University of Florida.

Most recently, Dr. Jaffe was named an associate professor at the University of Central Florida’s new medical school and is actively assisting in creating a curriculum for the reproduction and endocrine module for second-year medical students. Dr. Jaffe also strongly believes in patient education, serving as the host of a nationwide television show discussing various women’s issues.

Dr. Jaffe has authored numerous scientific research articles and publications and has given many lectures and presentations on reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She has consistently been named on the Best Doctors in America® list.
