Ovulation Induction (OI)

Ovulation Induction (OI) is a medical stimulation of the ovaries to produce one or more mature eggs in a single cycle, as explained by Dr. Larisa Gavrilova-Jordan and Dr. Frank Riggall.  The cost is much cheaper than IVF but varies significantly due to several mitigating factors, such as the type of medication, what dosage is used and whether or not intrauterine insemination or donor insemination is used.  Ideal candidates are typically women who don’t have regular periods or polycystic ovary patients who have some hormonal imbalance, but will often respond to a low dose of OI and with excellent results.
