As founding partner of the Center for Reproductive Medicine, Gary W. DeVane, M.D., is an experieced physician with a reputation for excellence. In 1985, Dr. DeVane developed the first in vitro fertilization (IVF) program in Orlando, earning him recognition as a leading fertility doctor. Esteemed by peers and patients alike, this Florida physician has appeared on the Best Doctors in America® list and was named one of the "Best Doctors for Women" by Good Housekeeping® magazine.

Dr. DeVane is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He received his undergraduate education at Davidson College and earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. After completing his internship and residency at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. DeVane undertook a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Subsequently, he spent three years in Germany as an Ob/Gyn Specialist in the U.S. Army. He has since served as an associate professor in the Ob/Gyn department at the University of Florida College of Medicine and is currently associated with Florida Hospital and Orlando Regional Healthcare System.

A respected leader in the field of reproductive endocrinology, Dr. DeVane has published more than sixty scientific articles and abstracts. He has also served on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism and is an ad hoc reviewer for a number of medical journals in the field of obstetrics and gynecology and infertility.

Active in a number of state and national medical societies, Dr. DeVane has served as president of the Central Florida Ob/Gyn Society, president of the Florida Ob/Gyn Society, and was the first private practice fertility doctor to be elected a board member of the National Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. DeVane's current focus is on providing high quality in vitro fertilization (IVF) with special emphasis on cost-effective minimal approaches to ensure that all couples have access to this treatment. He also has an interest in the study and treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis.
